Nina Suzara, Ed.D.A teacher at heart, Nina Suzara is an educator whose interest and focus of study include International Multicultural Education and Organization and Leadership. Under these two umbrellas, she teaches Bilingualism, Philosophy of Education, Gender and Diversity Issues in the Work World, Cultures of Organizations, Management Theories and Practice, and Dharmic Leadership. Having two areas of research, Education and Organization & Leadership, she believes that both fields can learn and ‘borrow” from each other. Dr. Suzara believes that the goal of education is to build character and that teachers are the models before the student’s eyes. She has a doctoral degree in Education from the University of San Francisco, a Master’s degree in Education from Loyola University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ateneo University and Bachelor’s of Science degree in Medical Technology. Dr. Suzara is a founder/owner of an educational consulting company. Her administrative experience includes Dean of Instruction, School Director, Curriculum Coordinator and Externship Coordinator. Presently Dr. Suzara is also a Health Education Instructor teaching Cognitive-Behavioral Model for management of stress and stress-related illness. |
