Course Offerings in Education

The Education Program currently plans to offer the following classes:

Registration and enrollment are done through your student portal, not with these spreadsheets. If you need a class offered on these sheets, but it is not appearing in your student portal offerings, immediately contact your faculty advisor.

See the Student Services section of this web for enrollment information and dates.

Room Assignments

There is always a current listing of assigned room locations for all departments posted in the lobby. The list is arranged by class number and also contains class title and instructor name.

Room assignments may change up to the night before the class so check the list when you arrive for your class.

Student Portal Tips

These two Powerpoint slide shows (here[1] and here[2]) give a good overview of how to use your portal and cover most of its features.

Class Registration

Register for classes in your student portal. All official emails from the university (including your class logins & passwords) will be sent to your student email accessible through your student portal. These emails may go out as late as the day before the term begins (but rarely that late).

If the classes offered on your student portal do not match those on the Program of Study you were given when you enrolled in the university, immediately contact your faculty advisor.

Attendance

Log into each class at your first opportunity (see slide shows above for links in your portal). Look through the class site, understand the expectations, and deposit a short document with contact information for your instructor. These actions will record you as active in the class. Failure to log in to your class for the first few days of a term may cause you to be automatically dropped from the class and have your university status changed to 'withdrawal'. This could affect your financial aid but may also put you too far behind the class to catch up (in the opinion of the instructor whose opinion is final). If you have any problems logging into a class site, contact Student Services immediately.

NOTE: This information is offered in good faith, but last minute changes can and do occur. If you have any course questions, please contact your faculty advisor or the course instructor. For room assignments, contact university staff when you arrive on campus for your class. Phoning early may give you preliminary information that has changed by the time you arrive on campus.
