Sample Education Programs of Study

The Education Program offers Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degrees in:

Each link will open a sample Program of Study.

Class Sequence

The last column on each sheet indicates the sequence in which classes should be taken by group.

  • The first class should always be W7000 and the second class should always be R7001.
  • After completing these two classes, move to those in group 3. These group 3 classes may be taken in any order, but all must be finished before enrolling in group 4 classes.
  • Again, finish the group 4 classes in any order before moving to group 5.
  • Note that group 6 and group 7 again contain only one class each. These must be taken one at a time and in the proper sequence.
  • After successfully completing group 7 (E7834, part of which is the Comprehensive Examination) you will begin the final group of dissertation classes.

NOTE: Programs of Study evolve over time and if you are a current student, your (older) program of study may differ from the above. There also may have been recent official changes not yet reflected here. Always adhere to the program of study given you at the time you enrolled. If you have any questions, please contact your faculty advisor.
